A brochure released for the new Tesla body program reveals the first photo of the Tesla Model 3 body in white.
When we started to see spy photos of real Tesla Model 3 release candidates driving on California roads, it was huge news. Now, at this point, it seems like there are new footage almost daily. The cat is out of the bag now – although in some ways it sort of has been forever – so Tesla isn’t paying too much attention to making sure drivers practice stealth. The truth is, they’re more likely to want us to see the car.

There have been Model 3s in the wild for a short time after the initial reveal. Tesla has made no effort to cover it up or use cover-up, and the automaker appears to be “leaking” information on a regular basis. The other day an employee handout detailing the comparisons between Model 3 and Model S was posted on the Internet. It was initially considered “fake” by some, but apparently Tesla has verified its authenticity.
We recently informed you about Tesla’s new body shop program, which is moving to online and offsite courses to streamline the training process and reduce costs before Tesla Model 3 deliveries.
Now Tesla has created a brochure outlining the program, and in it we get a first look at the Tesla Model 3 body in white (pictured above).
Tesla technicians will begin taking classes on the Model 3 under the new program as early as July. The automaker is encouraging body shop workers to take other courses (not Model 3) as soon as possible, and even offers incentives if the courses are completed before July 1. This will help to open up the schedules to focus on the later courses of the Model 3.
