How to earn XP
There are many ways to earn XP. Players can play MLB The Show 21’s various game modes and earn XP after each game, including Road to the Show games, which can be a quick way to get XP fast. Players can earn a fair amount of XP (from 500 to 4000 XP) per match by taking a few hits at home plate or throwing a few innings on the mound.
Additionally, players can complete daily missions, as well as program missions.
It should be noted, however, that San Diego Studios made a slight change to XP earnings earlier this year. Going forward, MLB The Show 21 players can only earn a maximum of 35,000 XP per day through gameplay. This does not include XP gained from completing Missions, Conquests, or Showdowns. This was done to put an end to the exploits that were used by community members to get through the programs in an incredibly fast way.
Additionally, MLB The Show players should expect a number of other events to appear throughout the month. Traditionally, SDS has released multiple player programs throughout a month, each usually needed for additional XP.
MLB players can get 50,000 XP for completing a collection that includes the three bosses from the Round 7 schedule. Additionally, users can complete two collections of 20,000 XP, one for Evolution Wade Davis and one for Evolution Yadier Molina. Another program for Round 8 players is expected to be available on October 19.
Additionally, MLB users can participate in a Round 8 Special Event which goes live on October 22. Additionally, a new round 8 conquest also went live on the 15th. Here is a preview of the map:
