In cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, feasibility studies are continuing for the planned geothermal greenhouse in Kula, Turkey.
Within the framework of the “Installation Project of Technological Greenhouses with Geothermal Energy” planned in Kula district of Manisa province, a technical visit was organized to the modern technological greenhouses heated by geothermal energy in Sandikli, which is an investment of the Koyuncu group. As we reported earlier; Koyuncu Group has announced that it has started production of its new investment, a 100 decare modern geothermally heated technological greenhouse located in Sandikli district of Afyonkarahisar province.
A few months ago, the delegation, which also included Development Agencies Director General Baris Yeniceri, District Governor Kemal Duru, Mayor Huseyin Tosun and experts from the agency, conducted a review of potential resources in thermal water in the region of Emir Spas and its surroundings. .
The Zafer Development Agency has prepared a pre-feasibility report on the efficient use of resources in the field of technological greenhouse cultivation based on geothermal energy and spa tourism in Kula. You can access the report here.
During the technical visit organized as part of the project’s feasibility studies, points of view were exchanged on the implementation process, the construction stages and the installation costs of the technological greenhouses. The delegation is made up of Kula Mayor Hüseyin Tosun, members of the municipal council working in the Agriculture and Livestock Rural Development Commission, and technical staff.
President Hüseyin Tosun said the following about the trip: “There is a project prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Industry and Technology to increase studies and investments for the use of geothermal energy in greenhouse cultivation in our district, which is rich in geothermal resources. With the support of Zafer Development Agency, we undertook a technical trip to Afyonkarahisar Sandikli district with our city council members and technical staff under the “Geothermal Energy Technology Greenhouse Installation Project as part of the youth work and production program. (CUGEP). We examined the examples of geothermal technological greenhouse activities in the field, the feasibility studies of which we launched.
