CKRec launches online program guide for winter 2022

CKRecreation announced that in addition to full lineup, it will also be launching a brand new online lineup guide this winter.

“The CKRecreation team is thrilled to be able to provide Chatham-Kent residents with an enhanced user experience when it comes to enrolling in CKRecreation programs,” said Kelly Emery, Director of Child Care, early childhood and recreation, in a press release. .

“With Ontario’s continued reopening through the Provincial Roadmap to Reopening, we are able to find more stability in our program offerings and as such aim to provide our users with a seamless experience from start to finish.”

The online program guide will feature recreation, inclusive recreation and water sports programs.

Once registration opens on December 6, 2021, users will be able to click on the exact program they want to register for and will be directed to the specific registration page, providing a much more user-friendly experience.

CKRecreation has expanded its program offering this winter to meet the growing demand for safe and fun recreational opportunities in Chatham-Kent.

Attendees can expect to see the return of popular favorites like Learn to Skate, Swimming Lessons and Inclusive Recreational Zumba, in addition to exciting new programs including Let’s Play Saturday’s and Inclusive Recreation Active Hour.

Parents will be particularly delighted to learn of the return from spring break camp after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19.

“The success of our camps this summer has shown that there is a significant demand for recreational opportunities for children during the school holidays,” said Emery.

“That’s why we’ve expanded our spring break camp locations to include Blenheim and Wallaceburg, in addition to our flagship Chatham camp. “

Recreational activities will comply with Ontario Covid-19 regulations, including the requirement for proof of vaccination.

All persons aged 12 and over entering a CKRecreation program / facility must provide full proof of vaccination and identification.
