City of Kelowna publishes guide to fall activities and programs – Kelowna News

Fall Activities Guide Now Available

The City of Kelowna has released its Fall Activity Guide, offering programs for all ages and abilities.

The program will operate with COVID-19 guidelines and safety protocols in place, and the fall guide will only be available online.

“After a successful summer season reintroducing programs as part of our gradual return to leisure, we are delighted to be able to offer even more programs this fall that have been adapted with safety in mind,” said Mariko Siggers, Director community and neighborhood services.

“However, we are still operating in a pandemic environment, so we ask all program participants to read, understand and follow the important guidelines put in place for everyone’s health and safety. “

Sports leagues, after-school programs and fitness classes are available at various locations, but the aquatic area at the Parkinson Recreation Center remains closed.

Dates and opening hours for fall registrations:

  • August 18 – General programs, 7 a.m.
  • August 19 – Sports leagues, 7 a.m.
  • August 21 – Programs for people with various abilities, 7 a.m.

You can register online or by phone at 250-469-8800. There is no in-person registration option at this time.
