IT vendors typically turn to the channel after their first few years of startup, as they look to expand their sales beyond their first customers. It is unusual for young companies to have extensive partner programs – and even rarer for them to have partner programs that achieve a 5-star designation.
The CRN 2021 Partner Program Guide provides the information solution providers need to evaluate the channel programs operated by the distributors they work with or plan to partner with. The guide is based on detailed requests submitted by vendors and distributors – over 275 this year – describing all aspects of their partner programs.
For the purposes of the Partner Program Guide, CRN refers to certain programs as 5 Star Partner Programs because they offer the most comprehensive range of incentives, training, services and benefits.
